Web Design Group was a small, award-winning interactive agency. They provided clients with Internet, intranet, and extranet devlopment and e-commerce/content management applications. The company also offered online marketing consulting and hosting services. The creative department was focused on nice, clean, corporate interface design, brand extension, and online promotion.

I joined WDG in its first year and played an essential role in its growth from a 15-person company with revenues of $980,000 in 1998 to a full-service 60-person web development and interactive marketing company with revenues over $3 million.

The company was acquired by Divine, Inc. in early 2001.

ROLES:

Recruited and managed a 20 person team of designers, developers, and content experts.

Developed e-commerce architectures and strategies for business-to-business and business-to-consumer applications.

Wrote and delivered client reports and creative briefs.

Participated in sales pursuit.

Art direction, interface design and programming.

Developed corporate brand and marketing materials.
