About the Work: McDonald's wanted to communicate that their restaurants were now open 24 hours a day in select markets. The 24 Hour Clock campaign was created with our Cossette convergent partners, and tactics for online, digital signage, out-of-home, and radio were developed. Whatever time it was on the 24 Hour Clock, it was McDonald's time.

Online tactics included a series of fun banner ads that incorporated the McDonald's 24 Hour Clock. When users loaded the banner, it would read the time from the user's CPU clock. The animated 24 Hour Clock would synch with the user's clock and display the location of the sun at that time. If a user saw the ad at 12 noon, the clock would stop at noon and the sun would be directly above the clock. If they saw the ad at 8 pm, the clock would stop at that time, the sun would be setting and the sky approaching dusk.
